A note from Dr. Girard:
“Life’s challenges can bring up big, uncomfortable, and sometimes unfamiliar emotions. My interventions aim to help people better understand these emotions, and the behaviors and thoughts that are connected to these feelings. My approach is evidence-based, grounded in cognitive-behavioral, experiential, and mindfulness-based modalities.
I aim to build a space where you feel accepted and comfortable to explore what you’re going through. Sometimes life is really hard! It takes great strength to seek help. Therapy is a useful tool to navigate life’s challenges and identify a meaningful path forward. Together, we will do the work to help you feel better and reach your goals.”
